The Fisher ‎ ‎

The earliest settlers in Lagos were primarily fishermen as fishing is one of Lagos’s oldest means of subsistence. Long before the city’s skyline rose, fishermen cast their nets along its shores, sustaining families and feeding communities. ‎ ‎Today, that tradition faces new tides: polluted waters, dwindling fish stocks, and the shifting patterns of climate change.
