for the new to come, the old must go

photographed during the endsars protest in 2020, this image captures a moment when nigerian youths united to demand justice and reform. it reflects a generation’s longing for another nigeria; free, fair, and awake. we stood in the sun and the rain, demanding a country that listens. endsars was more than resistance; it was a glimpse of another nigeria, one led by courage and care.
