Expanding Buckets.

Nigeria is a country of flux, displacement and insights. The eye is unsure what to make of the expanding buckets at first. When the buckets speak for themselves, the eye learns that they are metaphor for the dust that never settles that is Nigeria. Shadowed by unspeakable and unspoken traumas, shadowed by its kleptocracy, shadowed by its repressed histories, it remains in a dizzying orbit. Set adrift, struggling for coherence, building and plundering its foundations, deferring the critical reckonings. Nigeria expands with the buckets and compresses and expands again. ‎
