Come Rain, Come Fire

Come Rain, Come Fire

This photograph is a coming-of-age story, told through the journey of a simple bucket. Moments before this scene, these buckets held the water used for a baptism—a ritual of cleansing. Here, in the second act, the very same vessels are thrust into the bonfire. They are no longer passive containers for water, but active instruments for gathering fire. They scoop up the flames to anoint the path forward. This transformation is the narrative. It is the story of a generation that has passed through the cleansing rain and now chooses to carry the fire of purpose and passion. It is an act of defiance, a declaration that they are unafraid of the elements. "Come Rain, Come Fire" is their creed.
