Architects of Flight

I wanted this image to feel like a timeless painting, intentionally soft and dreamy. It captures a scene that is part of our cultural wallpaper: a tree that is both a departure lounge and a welcome home. The dark, interweaving branches represent our complex, foundational roots, while the vast blue sky is the canvas of possibility. Against this backdrop, the birds are the hopeful architects of our future. Some are gathering strength for the journey outward, seeking new worlds over the horizon. Others have returned, bringing with them the seeds of change. We cannot tell who is leaving and who is returning, and that is the point. A new world is possible precisely because of this constant, fluid exchange. It is not built by standing still, but in the dynamic space between our heritage and our dreams. It is a future designed by the collective flight of a people in motion, powered by the wings that depart and the hearts that return.
